E-Commerce Website and AJAX Powered Shopping Cart
The PerfectJumper basketball training device is an innovating training tool used by athletes of all skill-levels. The trainee fits one of four shooting devices to their basketball rim which helps the player to focus and refine specific types of shots.

We redesigned the PerfectJumper homepage to display all 4 products on one screen, establish brand credibility and direct customers to the first step in the order process. The primary objective of this site was to get customers to load up their cart and complete the checkout process.
Streamlined shopping cart and checkout form
We paid special attention to smoothing the customer's transition through each step of the sales process. We (1) used trust graphics and explanations to inform customers of the transaction security measures we had in place and (2) removed as many form fields from the checkout form to minimize the inconvenience and general anxiety of providing personal information online. This resulted in happier customers and ultimately fewer abandoned shopping carts.
Used AJAX & web-services to assist customers in selecting a shipping method
We used AJAX to reduce the effort necessary for customers to select a shipping method. Furthermore, we integrated a United Postal Service (UPS) web-service to retrieve real-time shipping estimates based on the dimensions, weight and destination of online orders.
